I just wanted to let the guild members know I have a slight issue. Time is not something that is on my side. I'm working a ton of overtime because I desperately need the money. Plus, I also have to do work for WoW Radio. As a result, my time in WoW is almost nil.
I really feel bad because, I am supposed to be the guild leader. However, I know right now I am not leading a good guild. We haven't grown at all.
I am debating a possible disband or handing the guild over to someone else. I am also debating merging with another small guild.
What do you all think? Opinions? Advice?

I keep thinking about this and I really honestly can't come up with anything to say. I guess I know you'll end up doing whatever is best even if it is disbanding.

I have been thinking lately that merging with other small RP guilds would be a good idea. The Stromgarde theme has been a tough sell for us. It may be a bit limiting.
What guilds do you know who'd be good for this? I've met a few people from "Wards of the Circle" and they impressed me as a good RPing guild. I know you've got others in mind like Blades of Tyshale. What are they up to these days? It's a cool name at the least.
Of course, we could go into mass recruitment mode, but I think for that to be successful it would take a little coordination on our part. We'd want a few people online in some of the more popular meeting spots. That means taking a little break of adventuring to hang in some of the cities and towns and chatting in /say or general.
It takes a lot of extra time to build up a guild. You have to sacrifice a fair amount of adventuring time to meet and chat with others to make sure they're a good fit for the guild. Visit your boards frequently to keep them active. Visit other boards, like feathermoon.net, frequently to promote the guild. Of course, it helps to have several core members who also promote the guild, visit the boards, etc.
So, I favor the first choice. That would give us a bit more critical mass to keep and attract good RPers.
